Customer Support Specialist (Remote, Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for provider, clinic, or patient support requests
  • Assist with administrative healthcare workflows such as:
    • Prior authorizations
    • Billing support
    • Documentation follow-ups
    • Scheduling coordination
  • Troubleshoot common process and account issues and escalate complex cases when necessary
  • Communicate clearly and professionally regarding next steps, documentation requirements, and case updates
  • Document interactions accurately within CRM and ticketing systems
  • Follow established workflows and escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve service quality and case outcomes
  • Contribute to process documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills

  • Strong sales orientation with the ability to recommend appropriate solutions when relevant
  • Excellent communication skills; clear, concise, empathetic, and professional
  • Proven experience in customer support or call center environments with strong phone etiquette
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Comfortable with general computer systems and documentation workflows
  • Experience supporting outbound calling campaigns and outreach initiatives
  • Ability to quickly assess customer needs and provide effective solutions
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures
  • Strong typing and transaction processing accuracy
