Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for provider, clinic, or patient support requests
- Assist with administrative healthcare workflows such as:
- Prior authorizations
- Billing support
- Documentation follow-ups
- Scheduling coordination
- Troubleshoot common process and account issues and escalate complex cases when necessary
- Communicate clearly and professionally regarding next steps, documentation requirements, and case updates
- Document interactions accurately within CRM and ticketing systems
- Follow established workflows and escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve service quality and case outcomes
- Contribute to process documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills
- Strong sales orientation with the ability to recommend appropriate solutions when relevant
- Excellent communication skills; clear, concise, empathetic, and professional
- Proven experience in customer support or call center environments with strong phone etiquette
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Comfortable with general computer systems and documentation workflows
- Experience supporting outbound calling campaigns and outreach initiatives
- Ability to quickly assess customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Strong typing and transaction processing accuracy
